Ted Hendricks is a Hall of Fame linebacker and member of the NFL Top 100.  He was drafted by the Baltimore Colts in the 2nd round of the 1969 NFL Draft.  Initially, his career began as a defensive end, which is why he had the unusual number (#83) for a linebacker.  Ted Hendricks was a key member of four Super Bowl winning teams (one with the Baltimore Colts and three with the Oakland Raiders).

Below is a look at some of Ted Hendricks’ career accomplishments and highlights.

  • 8x Pro Bowl
  • 4x All-Pro
  • 4x Super Bowl Champion

Ted Hendricks’ rookie card is in the 1972 Topps set alongside fellow Hall of Famers Roger Staubach, Charlie Joiner and Larry Little.  Throughout the years, he has been great to fans and quickly signs TTM requests with a donation to his foundation.  I purchased a raw card on eBay and sent it in a bubble mailer along with a $60 donation and new blue sharpie.  The card turned out perfectly!
