Gail Goodrich is a Hall of Fame guard.  He is best known for leading UCLA to its first two national championships under John Wooden.  Gail Goodrich was the star player on the 1963 UCLA team that went undefeated on their way to a national championship.  As a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, he was the leading scorer on the 1971 team that earned the franchise’s first NBA championship since relocating to Los Angeles.

Below is a look at some of Gail Goodrich’s career accomplishments and highlights.

  • 5x All-Star
  • 1x All-NBA
  • 1x NBA Champion

Gail Goodrich’s rookie card is in the 1969 Topps set alongside fellow Hall of Famers Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dave Bing, Jerry Lucas, Chet Walker, Tom Sanders, Bill Bradley, Walt Frazier, Elvin Hayes, John Havlicek and Earl Monroe.  Throughout the years, he has been fantastic to fans and will sign one card per request through the mail. I purchased a raw card on eBay and sent it TTM in a bubble mailer along with $5, hoping for a couple inscriptions, and a blue sharpie.  The card turned out perfectly!
