Below is a look at some of Don Sutton’s career accomplishments and highlights.

  • 4x All-Star
  • 1x ERA Title
  • 300 Wins / 3,000 Strikeout Club

Don Sutton’s rookie card is in the 1966 Topps set alongside fellow Hall of Famers Jim Palmer and Fergie Jenkins.  Throughout the years, he was fantastic to fans and would quickly respond TTM with a donation.  I was fortunate to get his autograph a couple times but ultimately flipped them.  I never sent a rookie card because he had a habit of signing over his face everytime and rarely added his HOF inscription.  For several months, I was watching a couple autographed slabbed cards on eBay and recently put in a low offer that was accepted.
