Tom Chambers is a former All-Star power forward.  He was drafted by the San Diego Clippers with the 8th pick in the 1981 NBA Draft.  As a rookie he lead the team in scoring, however the following season, he was traded to the Seattle SuperSonics after Terry Cummings was drafted to replace him.  At the end of his career, he was the 6th-man on the Phoenix Suns team that lost to Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls during the 1992-93 NBA Finals.  Currently, Tom Chambers is one of only two retired players who have scored over 20,000 career points and have not been elected into the Hall of Fame.

Below is a look at some of Tom Chambers’ career accomplishments and highlights.

  • 4x All-Star
  • 2x All-NBA

Tom Chambers’ rookie card is in the iconic 1986 Fleer set.  I purhcased a raw card on eBay and sent it into a paid signing.  The card turned out perfectly with his career points inscription.
