Matt Ryan is a future Hall of Fame quarterback.  He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons with the 3rd pick in the 2008 NFL Draft.  During his rookie season, he started all 16 games and led the team to the playoffs with an 11-5 record.  In 2016, he led the Falcons to the Super Bowl where they famously collapsed to the New England Patriots.  In 2018, Matt Ryan signed a $150 million/5 year extension which made him the highest paid player in NFL history until Aaron Rodgers’ deal surpassed his contract.

Below is a look at some of Matt Ryan’s career accomplishments and highlights.

  • 4x Pro Bowl
  • 1x All-Pro
  • 1x MVP
  • 2008 Offensive Rookie of the Year

Matt Ryan’s rookie card is in the 2008 Topps Chrome set alongside fellow NFL stars Joe Flacco, Jordy Nelson and Matt Forte.  I purchased a raw 2008 Topps Chrome Refractor on eBay and sent it into a paid signing with a red paint pen.  The card turned out amazingly.
