Martin St. Louis is a Hall of Fame right winger.  He went undrafted and only the Ottawa Senators offered him a tryout prior to the 1997-98 season.  After the team released him, he signed a two-year contract with the Cleveland Lumberjacks of the International Hockey League.  In 56 games, he tallied 50 points which caught the attention of the Calgary Flames who signed him in 1998.  Martin St. Louis went on to play in over 1,000 NHL games on his way to scoring over 1,000 career points.

Below is a look at some of Martin St. Louis’ career accomplishments and highlights.

  • 5x All-Star
  • 3x Lady Byng Award Winner
  • 2x Ross Trophy Winner
  • 1x Stanley Cup Winner
  • 1,033 career points

Martin St. Louis’ rookie card is in the 1998 Upper Deck set.  Throughout the years, he has been fantastic to fans and quickly responds to fan mail.  However, I never had any luck getting him to add any inscriptions so I purchased a raw card on eBay and sent it into a paid signing.
