Martin Brodeur is a Hall of Fame goalie and a member of the NHL Top 100.  He was drafted by the New Jersey Devils with the 20th pick in the 1990 NHL Draft.  He made an immediate impact and helped lead the Devils to the 2nd best record in the league on his way to winning the Calder Trophy.   As a rookie, he finished 2nd in goals against average (2.40) and fourth in save percentage (.915).  Martin Brodeur was one of the most dominant goalies in the NHL history and finished his career with nearly 700 wins and 125 shutouts.

Below is a look at some of Martin Brodeur’s career accomplishments and highlights.

  • 3x Stanley Cup Champion
  • 5x Jennings Award Winner
  • 4x Vezina Award Winner
  • 9x All-Star
  • 1993-94 Calder Trophy Winner

Martin Brodeur’s rookie card is in the 1990 Score set alongside Jaromir Jagr, Eric Lindros, Mark Recchi, Alexander Mogilny and Mike Modano.  Throughout the years, he has been very hit or miss TTM.  I purchased a raw card and sent it along with a donation and within a few weeks it came back signed.  While he did not add any inscriptions, I am happy with the success.  At some point, I will upgrade and get one at a paid signing with inscriptions.
