Brian Bellows is a former All-Star left wing.  He was drafted by the Minnesota North Stars with the 2nd pick in the 1982 NHL Draft.  During his time playing junior hockey, he was featured in Sports Illustrated which described him as the hottest prospect since Wayne Gretzky.  While he did not live up to those lofty comparisons, he went on to have a great career.

Below is a look at some of Brian Bellows career accomplishments and highlights.

  • 1x All-Star
  • 1x Stanley Cup Champion
  • 1,022 career points

Brian Bellows’ rookie card is in the 1983 O-Pee-Chee set along with Hall of Famers Scott Stevens and Phil Housley.  Recently he signed with PastPros which manages fan mail requests for dozens of athletes for a fee.  I purchased a raw card on eBay and purchased an autograph and inscription ticket online before sending it in the mail.  It took about a month and I am happy with the result.
