Bob McAdoo is a Hall of Fame center. He was drafted with the 2nd pick in the 1972 NBA Draft by the Buffalo Braves. He was a dominating scorer and was the last player to average at least 30 points and 15 rebounds a game throughout the course of a season. Bob McAdoo played professionally for 21 seasons, 14 in the NBA and his final 7 in the Lega Basket Serie A in Italy. He is one of only a few players to win both NBA and FIBA EuroLeague Championships as a player.
Below is a look at some of Bob McAdoo’s career accomplishments and highlights.
- 5x All-Star
- 2x Scoring Champion
- 2x NBA Champion
- 1x MVP
- Rookie of the Year
Bob McAdoo’s rookie card is in the 1973 Topps set alongside fellow Hall of Famer Paul Westphal. I purchased a raw card on eBay and sent it into a paid signing. The card turned out perfectly.
Currently there are only 20 autographed 1974 Topps Bob McAdoo rookie cards in the PSA registry.
