Spub Webb is a former NBA point guard.  He was originally drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the 4th round of the 1985 NBA Draft.   Ultimately he was released by the team and secured a tryout with the Atlanta Hawks.  Despite his size, he had a long NBA career and in twelve seasons he averaged nearly 10 points per game.  Spub Webb is most remembered for winning the 1986 Slam Dunk Contest.
