Shaquille O’Neal’s rookie card is in the 1992 Topps set alongside fellow Hall of Famer Alonzo Mourning.  I purchased a Beckett 9 on eBay and cracked it open for a paid signing along with a printing plate.  Overall, the cards turned out awesome.

There is a lot of debate in the TTM community regarding the authenticity of the returns that come back from Mine O’ Mine.  Without a doubt, these TTM returns are ghost signed.  There was a brief window when Shaquille O’Neal was responding to fan mail via TNT but that hasn’t happened in years.  The biggest indicator that highlights the difference between an authentic autograph and the Mine O’ Mine TTM returns is the “O” in Shaq.  All of the authentic autographs have a closed loop and the TTM returns always have an open or incomplete loop.  Below is a TTM return from TNT.
