Robin Yount is a Hall of Fame shortstop. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers with the 3rd pick in the 1973 MLB Draft. After being drafted, it only took him one year to make his major league debut at the age of 18. He went on to win 2x MVP awards and helped lead the Brewers to the World Series before they lost in Game 7 to the St. Louis Cardinals.
Below is a look at some of Robin Yount’s career accomplishments and highlights.
- 3x All-Star
- 3x Silver Slugger
- 2x MVP
- 1x Gold Glove
Robin Yount’s rookie card is in the 1975 Topps set alongside fellow Hall of Famers George Brett, Jim Rice and Gary Carter. Throughout the years, Robin Yount has randomly responded to TTM requests but typically he sends back a preprint. I was fortunate to get him once but decided to sell those cards and upgrade to a rookie. I purchased a raw card on eBay and sent it into a paid signing.
Currently there are 214 autographed 1975 Topps Robin Young rookie cards in the PSA registry.
