Roberto Alomar’s rookie card is in the 1988 Topps Traded set alonside fellow All-Stars Tino Martinez, Mark Grace, Jim Abbott and David Wells. I was able to add this card to my collection by making a donation to his foundation. A fellow collector sent up an event to help raise money and was kind enough to allow me to participate. In exchange for my donation, I was able to pick an autographed baseball card.
