Orlando Cepeda is a Hall of Fame first baseman.  In 1955, he left Puerto Rico to tryout for the San Francisco Giants.  After a few seasons in the minor leagues, he made his major league debut in 1958.  His rookie season, he batted .312 with 25 home runs and 96 RBI on his way to winning the Rookie of the Year Award.  In 17 seasons, he batted nearly .300 with over 2,300 hits.
