Larry Fitzgerald is a future Hall of Famer and widely consider one of the greatest wide receivers of all-time.  He was named to the NFL’s Top 100 All-Time Team.  He played college football at the University of Pittsburgh, where he was a unanimous All-American.  The Arizona Cardinals drafted Larry Fitzgerald with the 3rd pick in the 2004 NFL Draft.  Currently, he has over 17,000 career receiving yards placing him in 2nd place only behind Jerry Rice.

Below is a look at some of Larry Fitzgerald’s career accomplishments and highlights.

  • 11x Pro Bowl
  • 1x All-Pro

Larry Fitzgerald’s rookie card is in the 2004 Topps Chrome set along with fellow future Hall of Famers Philip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger and Eli Manning.  While his preferred rookie is Topps Chrome, I prefer the look and rarity of the refractor variations.  Throughout his career, Larry Fitzgerald has been hit or miss when it comes to answering fan mail via the Arizona Cardinals.  I was fortunate to get him once on a couple of cards.  Ultimately, I decided to sell those cards and upgrade to a higher end rookie card.  I purchased a Beckett 9 on eBay and cracked it open for a paid signing.  Along with my card, I sent in a red paint pen and the card turned out great.
