I have been fortunate to get LaDainian Tomlinson TTM but wanted to add a high-end rookie card to my collection. I think Topps Chrome Refractors look amazing and from my research, these cards have increased in value significantly over the years. Because of their high cost, there are very few of them that have been autographed which I believe will help the cards maintain value long-term. To make my card even more unique, I requested that it be autographed using a DecoColor Fine Tip yellow paint pen. I love the way that the yellow paint pen compliments the gold refractor color on the card.
Currently there are only 8 autographed LaDainian Tomlinson 2001 Topps Chrome Refractors in the PSA database. This is one of the lowest immediate return on investments that I have made. However, I believe that these cards are undervalued and will see continued growth. Since I purchased the card unsigned, the value has grown by nearly 50%. I think within the next couple of years the card will be worth $500+ unsigned.
