Gaylord Perry is a Hall of Fame pitcher.  In the early 1950s, he played semi-professionally in Texas.  It wasn’t until 1958 when he signed his first major league contract with the San Francisco Giants.  Gaylord Perry was the first pitcher to win a Cy Young Award in both the American (1972) and National League (1978).  He went on to have a long career and finished as a member of the 300 wins / 3,000 strikeout club.

Below is a look at some of Gaylord Perry’s career accomplishments and highlights.

Gaylord Perry’s rookie card is in the 1962 Topps set.  I purchased a raw card on eBay and sent it into a paid signing and it turned out perfectly.
