Bernie Nicholls is a former All-Star center.  He was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the 4th round of the 1980 NHL Draft.  Over his 17-year career, he played in 1,127 games and averaged over 1 point per game.  Bernie Nicholls is one of only eight players to score 70 goals in a season and one of five to score at least 150 points.  Eventually, he deserves a place in the Hall of Fame.

Below is a look at some of Bernie Nicholls career accomplishments and highlights.

  • 3x All-Star
  • 1,209 career points

Bernie Nicholls’ rookie card is in the 1983 O-Pee-Chee set.  Throughout the years, he has been great to fans and quickly signs his fan mail.  In the past, I was able to get a rookie card autographed but never had luck getting him to add an inscription.  I purchased a raw card on eBay and sent it into a paid signing.
