John Bucyk is a Hall of Fame left winger and a member of the NHL Top 100 All-Time Team.  He played 23 seasons in the NHL, most notably with the Boston Bruins.  During his career, he helped lead the Bruins to two Stanley Cups.  Despite a reputation for being a hard hitting player, he won the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy twice for sportsmanship.

Below is a look at some of John Bucyk’s career accomplishments and highlights.

  • 2x All-Star
  • 2x Stanley Cup Champion
  • 1,000+ career points

John Bucyk’s rookie card is in the 1957 Topps set alongside fellow Hall of Famer Norm Ullman.  Over the years he has been fantastic to fans.  He quickly answers TTM requests that are sent to the Boston Bruins Alumni Foundation.  I ordered a raw card on eBay and sent it in a bubble mailer with a blue sharpie and donation.  The card turned out perfectly with the inscriptions that I requested.
