Greg Maddux is a Hall of Famer and one of the greatest starting pitchers of all-time. He was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 2nd round of the 1984 MLB Draft out of high school. Throughout the 1990s, he was the most dominant pitcher in the major leagues. He was the first pitcher in MLB history to win four consecutive CY Young Awards (1992-1995). In addition, he is the only pitcher to win at least 15 games for 17 straight seasons. A member, of the 300 wins/3,000 strikeouts club, he is the only one in the group with fewer than 1,000 walks issued. Greg Maddux is the model for consistency and pitching control.
Below is a look at some of Greg Maddux’s career accomplishments.

Greg Maddux’s rookie card is in the 1987 Donruss set. I purchased a card that was graded a PSA 8 on eBay and cracked it open to send into a paid signing. The card turned out perfectly and includes his nickname, The Professor, inscribed as well.
Currently there are 229 autographed 1987 Donruss Greg Maddux rookie cards in the PSA registry.
