Dave Winfield is a Hall of Fame outfielder. He was originally drafted in the 40th round by the Baltimore Orioles in the 1969 MLB Draft but chose to attend college. At the University of Minnesota, he was a star on the baseball and basketball team. ESPN named him the 3rd best all-around athlete of all-time in any sport. Ultimately, he was drafted with the 4th pick in the 1973 MLB Draft by the San Diego Padres and had an incredible professional career.
